Author Peg Sundberg to visit Ike Monday, April 11th!

Author Peggy Sundberg will be re-visiting Crown Point Schools next week! Writing the nationally popular “Cowgirl Peg Books” is a dream-come-true for her. In publication since 2002, the series includes six books geared to an early reading age. The newest seventh book, The Adventures and Mis-Adventures of Cowgirl Peg, is a result of many students’ requests for a chapter book. Each entertaining book uses real animals along with “Cowgirl Peg” to deliver positive life messages including friendship, kindness and respect. Colorado illustrator Pat Wiles has partnered with Peg on each of the books with beautiful watercolor artwork, including both the cover and pencil sketches of the new one. Peg particularly enjoys meeting students and staff during her national school visits. Leaving a positive impact on the lives of readers is her biggest reward. Peg does not charge a fee to the school and relies on book sales as payment. Copies of the books will be available for purchase. A flyer/order form will be sent home with students approximately one week prior to the visit. She will personally autograph the copies as requested on the forms. All seven titles are also now available as EBooks on the Kindle app. Please visit her website for more details about the book series and her career as an author.
