Introducing ParentSquare!


Dear CPCSC Families,

We are excited to announce that CPCSC adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our district and schools.  You can find an overview of ParentSquare and how to use it via this video: Parents—Getting Started Video 

All district and school information will now be sent through ParentSquare via email and/or text. Later today you will receive an email and/or text with a link to activate your ParentSquare account. This invitation will be sent to the email address listed in the Parent 1 Email line of your RDS parent account. 

If you log in to ParentSquare and discover that your name, email address, or phone number are incorrect, your child’s school can help correct this issue in RDS. Anything that your school’s front office cannot correct will be entered in a tech ticket for our technology team to address. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we work through these details.

For even more convenience, you can download the ParentSquare app. If you do not use the app, you will still receive messages. However, the app provides many features to customize your communications.

While ParentSquare can also be used at the classroom level, we are first implementing it at the district/school level. Our plan is to make it available to teachers as an optional tool later this school year. Please watch for communication from your child’s teacher on the method(s) or program(s) they will use to connect with you throughout the school year.

Activating Your Account

  • You will receive an email inviting you to activate your ParentSquare account. If you do not have access to your activation email, visit, click Sign In, and then enter your email address or mobile phone number that the district has on file in the Sign Up/Create Password form.

    • Be sure to check your promotions or spam folders for the message if it does not appear in your inbox.

    • If you are having trouble logging in, it is likely that your contact information needs to be corrected in RDS. Please call your child’s school for help with this.

    • It is also possible that the same email address is used for both parents in RDS, so only one parent is receiving messages/access. Again, this can be fixed in RDS and your child’s school can help. Please call the front office.

    • If there are issues that the front office at your child’s school cannot correct, a tech ticket will be submitted on your behalf to our technology department. Thank you for your patience as they work through the tickets.
